Day 4: Dades Valley – kelaat M’agouna – Skoura – Ouarzazate
This day is unique during the six-day sightseeing trip from Fes because it is split evenly between on and off-road travel. To get to Kalaa M’agouna for lunch, we’ll drive through small valleys and over the high Atlas Mountains. The rose fields, pink retail establishments, and pink taxis in this town have earned it the moniker “the capital of roses.” We will travel to Skoura after lunch to find the mysterious old structure known as the Kasbah of Amridil. The Castle is renowned for its lovely Berber architecture, which features many pieces of vintage construction material. From there, we’ll travel to Ouarzazate, often referred to as the “Hollywood of Africa,” which is famous for its kasbahs, cinema museums, and Atlas Studios. Dinner and a hotel stay are included.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – high Atlas mountain – Marrakech
We will begin our journey by driving to another kasbah, which is very old and well-known, after breakfast.
